About The Monsters
From 6AM to 11AM every weekday, "The Monsters" take the airwaves by storm, entertaining listeners with a mix of hot talk, hot takes, and unfiltered banter on pop culture, stories from their personal lives, "coffee talk," and news of the day — from the serious to lighthearted to totally bizarre — PLUS, the kind of laugh-out-loud, off-the-wall comedic bits, stunts, and gleeful mayhem that can only originate from the inventive minds of a seasoned ensemble of larger-than-life personalities.
Stunts have involved skywriting, hanging a Monsters banner on a local eyesore, getting married in a parking lot, obliterating one of the Monsters' iPhones with a recreational axe, and participating in a multi-round, tongue-burning "Hot Ones"-style hot wings contest on-air.

Through the years, the show has welcomed some of the top names in entertainment on air and into the studio, from comedians visiting the local Improv comedy club to national celebrities. everyone from Marlon Wayons, Ke Huy Quan, John Oats (of "Hall & Oates), Lewis Black, Jay Pharoh, Jack McBrayer, Beverly D'Angelo, Dane Cook, Mo'Nique, Hulk Hogan, Bill Bellamy, Henry Winkler, Craig Robinson, Walker Montgomery (country music star), and Ice Cube.
Since its launch in 1993 by Russ on the AM dial, "The Monsters" have continued to reign supreme on iHeartRadio's Real Radio 104.1 FM, growing into the institution of morning radio it is today.

Adding to the accolades, this year, The Monsters were once again named to Talkers Magazine's "Heavy Hundred," the "100 most important radio talk show hosts in America."
In 2023, Russ celebrated 30 years of radio domination, thanks in part to the Monsters Army of listeners, the biggest, best, and most loyal following of fans in the state of Florida.
